EXHIBITION FAQs
What can I expect in the exhibition?

There will be more than 150 pieces of authenticated Banksy artworks at the exhibition including prints, canvases, unique works and ephemera. Many of these are on public display for the very first time and this will be the only authenticated exhibition in New Zealand.

How long does it take to see the exhibit?
The average time is between 60 and 90 minutes.

Are all the works genuine?
Yes! The artworks on display at The Art of Banksy were certified and authenticated by Pest Control. The works were sold by Banksy to private collectors and would normally never get to be seen by the public.

Is any of the work taken from the street?
We would never remove Banksy’s public works – it was meant for the public and belongs to the public. We believe public art should remain physically accessible to the public out in the wild.

Can I take photos in the exhibition area?
Yes, personal photography is encouraged, though you won’t be able to use your flash. Professional photography and flash photography is not permitted. You can share your photos with us on social media by tagging us @artofbanksywlg
