Waihi School is excited to present their 2024 production of *Disney's High School Musical Jr.*

As winter break ends at East High, the Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians, and Skater Dudes quickly return to their familiar cliques. However, things take an unexpected turn when Troy, the basketball team captain and star athlete, reconnects with Gabriella, a brainy new student he met during a ski trip karaoke night. When the duo decides to audition for the school musical, they disrupt the "status quo," but their bold move just might inspire others to step into the spotlight.

As Troy, Gabriella, and the students of East High navigate issues of love, friendship, and family, they also strive to balance their classes and extracurricular activities, making this an unforgettable school year!
