We're back for another year and it's set to be bigger and better than before! 

With some fresh new wineries taking part from the Te Awanga coastline, a new tasting village down variety lane, boutique winery pop up's in more areas across the festival, masterclasses and exciting promotions from each of our three anchor wineries - there's heaps in store for a full day out! 

On top of this there will be:

  • At 1500 tickets sold, we'll be unlocking a brand new winery to the strip

Tickets include entry to each of our wineries from 11-5pm, entertainment, wine glasses, hop on hop off buses, wineries, with the option of attending masterclasses, limited tastings and more. 

Participating wineries include - Elephant Hill, Clearview Estate Winery, Te Awanga Estate Winery, alongside guest wineries yet to be revealed.

MASTERCLASSES
Sea, Earth & Stone - Elephant Hill’s single vineyard wines with Simon Swa
Where: Elephant Hill Winery

Come on a tasting journey through Elephant Hill’s top-tier single vineyard wines with General Manager Simon Swa, who will host a relaxed, fun and informative masterclass comparing how the same varieties can taste so different depending on where they are planted. Will include a special first public preview of a yet-to-be released wine, plus an older, library cellar aged wine! Masterclass will take place within Elephant Hill’s actual winery itself, granting unique access for a memorable behind-the-scenes wine tasting, amongst the barrels experience!

Chardonnay with Winemaker Hugh Crichton
Where: Elephant Hill Winery

Discover the world of Chardonnay with Hugh Crichton, Elephant Hill's winemaker and well renowned expert in Chardonnay. In this interactive session, Hugh will guide you through: 

  • The Elephant Hill philosophy on Chardonnay wine style and where HB stands in the world of fine wine.
  • The nuts and bolts of production from vineyard to bottle.
  • In the barrel hall with Hugh. Behind the scenes in our Chardonnay barrel hall (with a sneak taste of our final 2024 blends in tank). 
  • We can taste newly released top 2022 Chardonnays – Salome, Sea and Earth as well as our 2023 Estate Chardonnay
  • What makes a great Chardonnay. The influences of land, climate and the hand.
