The NZ premiere of this quintessential Australian story about The Seekers; how 3 clean-cut young men who looked like bank tellers, and a shy cuddly girl-next-door type, left their hometown to have a go at making the big time.
With their unique vocal arrangements and pure sound, they were instantly appealing to audiences around the world. They appeared on Britain’s Top of the Pops and in 1965 even outsold The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
Their timeless songs include Georgy Girl, I’ll Never Find Another You, A World Of Our Own, The Carnival Is Over, and I Am Australian.
Please note: the role of Judith Durham will be played by Michelle Thorne-McHugh on Thursday 12th & Friday 20th June.
