NZ Sculpture OnShore is New Zealand's largest outdoor sculpture exhibition offering visitors more than 120 spectacular works held at the stunning clifftop park of Operetu Fort Takapuna in Devonport, Auckland. 

Proceeds from the sale of each work at this hugely popular event, now in its 29th year, go to Women’s Refuge NZ. Since inception, it has raised more than $2.6 million for the victims of domestic violence, helping women and children access safe places to stay, and providing counselling and wrap around services. 

NZ Sculpture OnShore is Women’s Refuge NZ’s largest public fundraising event. 

The exhibition, which features work from established and emerging artists, provides a unique snapshot of contemporary three-dimensional art practice in New Zealand. This includes monumental stand-alone sculptures, domestic and small-scaled works, ephemeral projects, light and sound art works, process art and many site-specific installations.

We are excited to offer several new and unforgettable experiences this year.

We invite visitors to show their support for the exhibition’s social purpose by taking selfies alongside the specially selected inaugural Women’s Refuge NZ Sculpture of Strength and sharing on social media. 

There’s a new Garden Art Series and Gallery. Exhibition-goers will experience an expanded outdoor offering with a curated collection of smaller-scale sculptures nestled throughout the gardens which will be available to take home the same day you purchase them.

Also new for 2025 is the Take a Seat trail – an imaginative journey of quirky, whimsical, stylish and practical seating placed along the coastal paths and gardens. Take a moment to sit, rest, and take in the breathtaking views.
