JOIN US FOR ONE OF NEW ZEALAND’S MOST ICONIC RACING EVENTS, Kaikoura Trotting Club weekend of Racing kicks off on Sunday 2nd November 2025 with 10 races on the programme (Gold coin donation entry), followed by our iconic Kaikoura Trotting Cup Day on Monday 3rd November with another 10-race programme starting at 12 noon. Entry is $10 per person 18 years and older.  This paid in cash at the gate.
 
This year will be the 100th running of the Kaikoura Cup and the Club is delighted to be hosting 5 heats of the World Drivers Championships over the two days.  An Opening Ceremony will be held prior to race 1 on Sunday.
 
Overnight Campervans and Caravans are welcome to camp at the Racecourse over our weekend of racing. Gates open at 10:00am on Friday, 31st October 2025, and are available until the morning of Tuesday, 4th November. Entry is via the Main Entrance off State Highway 1. Parking Wardens and Security will be on hand throughout this time to assist. Please put your ticket(s) in your windscreen so security can check daily. Further details will be available on our website closer to the races.
