Pedal & Pour – A Ride Like No Other!

Join the mountain bike community for a day of fun, adventure, and challenge, proudly hosted by Carrick Winery in the stunning Bannockburn surrounds. Whether you're a seasoned rider or just looking for a relaxed day out, there’s a ride for everyone!

Every race starts and finishes in the Carrick Garden, where the atmosphere will be buzzing with support, laughter, and celebration. Spectators and competitors alike can soak in the good vibes with live DJ beats, delicious offerings from the Pedal & Pour Pizza Caravan, and, of course, the full range of Carrick wines flowing.

The Cromwell Mountain Bike Club will be on-site with an exciting obstacle course to help riders of all ages sharpen their skills, offering expert tips to boost your confidence on the trails.

So grab your bike, bring your family and friends, roll in with a great attitude, and don’t forget a picnic blanket. Pedal & Pour is set to be a fabulous day out!

Cromwell MTB Club members will be on site at Carrick, to give some riding tips and tricks in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Pick up the pace on lap two and use it as training for summer challenges coming up. Plus, every participant has a chance to win spot prizes! Walk a 5km or 10km loop around our neighbouring vineyards!

Our neighbours at Akarua, Bannock Brae, Dicey, Monte Christo, Te Kano and Mora are opening their gates and bring you true Bannockburn Hospitality. Stroll the vines with friends and family. At each new vineyard site you'll be greeted with a complimentary treat! They'll surprise you as you walk. End at Carrick Winery for a complimentary glass of Pinot Noir, Rose or Sauvignon Blanc. You'll stroll by local artist Odelle Morshuis and pottery session too, so stop in to discover more!

Kids (under 18 years) walk for free (when accompanied by an adult). 

Kids Zone on site is being provided free for this event, so after walking or pedalling, relax as the kids are entertained by Sports Central inflatables and games!
