Join us for an evening dedicated to two of the world’s most celebrated dark spirits – whisky and rum. Set at Coupe Society, Dunedin’s newest Cocktail & Whisky bar located right in the city a minutes walk from the Octagon. This guided tasting will take you on a journey through oak, smoke, sugarcane, and time.

You’ll explore a carefully curated line-up of six exceptional pours:

  • Fettercairn 12 Year Old – a Highland whisky with tropical fruit and soft spice.
     

  • Benriach The Original 10 Year Old – Speyside elegance, layered with orchard fruit, honey, and a whisper of smoke.
     

  • Dalmore Cigar Malt – rich, indulgent, and built to pair perfectly with bold flavours.
     

  • Charles Mercer Double Barrel Rum – a complex rum crafted with dual cask influence for depth and balance.
     

  • Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva – Venezuela’s iconic sipping rum, velvety with cocoa and dried fruit.
     

  • Brugal 1888 – a remarkable Dominican rum, barrel aged 14–15 years for unrivalled smoothness.
