The Upper Hutt Piano Trust is proud to present this year’s Scholarship recipient  Amelia Lim with her recital on the Steinway Concert D Piano in the Gillies Theatre.

Each year the Piano Trust sponsors an award for a piano student selected by the New Zealand School of Music at Victoria University, and this year’s recipient, Amelia,  has recently won the Concerto Competition at the NZ School of Music.

The Tuesday Lunchtime Live Concerts at Whirinaki, given throughout the year by the NZ School of Music students,  reflect the high standards reached by these students and Amelia has already shown her talents at these.    The scholarship is funded by donations made at these eight lunchtime concerts.

She will be giving her concert after attending masterclasses in Europe during August.

By purchasing a ticket to this event, you are automatically opting into the WHIRINAKI WHARE TAONGA newsletter.
